Scott Thomas with Deco2MidCentury furniture has also donated this American Art Deco desk which was designed by Norman Bel Geddes (1893 - 1958) for the Simmons Company of Chicago, Illinois. The line was introduced in 1930's and most examples of his work were exhibited at the 1933 Worlds Fair in Chicago. The desk is in gloss white lacquer on steel. The dimensions 30" high 43" long 21" deep. Estimated value $5250.
